Musicians: join the Weekend Warriors
35 to 60-year-olds can rock again in Birmingham!
Professional Music Technology, Birmingham, UK is playing host to the Weekend Warriors programme on 28 November 2009: a chance for 35 to 60-year-old 'lapsed musicians' to re-join a band, re-live their musical youth and rock again!
Together with the MLC Academy, PMT will group enthusiasts into bands, provide equipment, rehearsal space and mentors. The bands will jam, create a set, rehearse and then perform live on stage.
For a taste of what to expect, here's previous Weekend Warrior, Primary School Head Teacher and Back To The Future band member Tim McLoughlin: "This has been a fantastic experience for all of us. Firemen, sales directors and medical reps have all been united by the common goal of getting back on stage and performing once more."
Check out MLC Academy for details on how to sign up, or call them on +44 (0)115 941 7493.
