Coldplay
Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus (you know, Hannah Montana) is going to support Coldplay on tour. Yes, you read correctly.
While we at MusicRadar don't rank this bill up there with the historically mismatched 1967 pairing of The Monkees with the then-unknown Jimi Hendrix Experience, we have to admit, it's pretty darned weird. To us, anyway.
Apparently, the 15-year-old Hannah Montana star (who last week had the No. 1 record in the US with Breakout, issued under her own name) recently revealed her love for Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin. And now Martin has revealed the admiration is mutual and has reportedly lined Cyrus up to perform with the band at some shows of their current world tour.
"I like Miley Cyrus," says Martin. "She seems to have a sweet charater. Anyone we like or respect, no matter how different they may be, we would play with."
Somewhat more creepily, Cyrus admitted she has a crush on 31-year-old husband of Gwyneth Paltrow and father to her two children. "My ideal man is a 16-year-old Chris Martin," says Cyrus. "But my mom says I have terrible taste!"
And some would say "illegal."

"I'm like, I'm freaked out right now. I'm scared. I feel like I'm drowning on stage and I feel like I'm failing”: SZA on that misfiring Glastonbury headline set
Joe is a freelance journalist who has, over the past few decades, interviewed hundreds of guitarists for Guitar World, Guitar Player, MusicRadar and Classic Rock. He is also a former editor of Guitar World, contributing writer for Guitar Aficionado and VP of A&R for Island Records. He’s an enthusiastic guitarist, but he’s nowhere near the likes of the people he interviews. Surprisingly, his skills are more suited to the drums. If you need a drummer for your Beatles tribute band, look him up.
