Maximo Park have Clash guitar stolen

Maximo Park have had a rare guitar stolen on the first night (13 May) of their UK tour.
Just before the band were set to play back-to-back shows in their hometown at the Newcastle Academy, guitarist Duncan Lloyd had one of his favourite guitars stolen.
The guitar - a brown and gold Gretsch Country Gent - was formerly played by Joe Strummer of The Clash and was purchased from Stella Barker of Belle Stars.
Maximo Park are offering a significant reward for the safe return of the guitar and will keep any information strictly confidential.
They ask that those with knowledge of the guitar's whereabouts please email maximopark@warprecords.com.
