Ex-Korn guitarist debuts new track online

Former Korn guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch has streamed a sample of a new track, Rebel, at his Myspace page.
The song comes from Welch's forthcoming debut solo album, entitled Save Me From Myself, which is scheduled for release on 9 September 9 via Driven Music Group/H2C Records, and distributed by Ryko/Warner Music Group. The CD's first single, Flush, emerged on iTunes in July.
Since quitting Korn, Welch has been enjoying a different form of celebrity. Now a devoted Christian, Welch has become a celebrated author after his memoirs - Save Me From Myself: How I Found God, Quit Korn, Kicked Drugs, And Lived To Tell My Story" - rocketed into the New York Times bestsellers list after its first week of publication in 2007.
The remaining members of Korn plan to enter the studio later in 2008 to record a new album for release next year.
