Breedlove Pro Series D25-SR Herringbone acoustic-electric guitar
Maximum sustain and resonance
The Breedlove Guitar Company made a big splash with the introduction of the Pro C25/CR Herringbone acoustic-electric. Now, they've added a second instrument to the Pro Series, the Breedlove Pro D25/SR Herringbone. Things will never sound the same.
The Pro D25/SR, Herringbone is based upon Breedlove's Custom Shop D25 (soft cutaway dreadnought). This USA-made instrument features a solid AAA sitka spruce top, solid AAA East Indian rosewood back and sides, ivoroid binding, herringbone top purfling, abalone rosette, and the award-winning L.R. Baggs Element Active VTC system with on-board volume and tone controls. The Pro D25/SR, H incorporates Breedlove innovations such as a graduated top thickness (progressively thicker from bass to treble side), a JLD bridge truss (helps to keep the guitar top relaxed for maximum sustain and resonance), and a pinless winged bridge.
Thanks to a streamlined manufacturing process using both US and imported components, and complete instrument assembly, finishing and string-up at the Breedlove Custom Shop in Bend, the Breedlove Pro Series brings US Custom Shop quality to the price point of $2,149.00 list. Hey, that even includes a Breedlove hardshell case.
