B.C. Rich announces Chuck Schuldiner Tribute Stealth model guitars
For the father of death metal
B.C. Rich Chuck Schuldiner Tribute Stealth guitar Standard
B.C. Rich Chuck Schuldiner Tribute Stealth guitar Handcrafted
As the singer, rhythm/lead guitar player and main songwriter of the band Death, the late Chuck Schuldiner has been hailed as 'the father of death metal.' B.C. Rich pays tribute with two appropriately named guitars.
Like the guitarist who inspired them, both the handcrafted and standard B.C. Rich Chuck Schuldiner Tribute Stealth guitars mean business. Both models feature neck-through construction, alder bodies, ebony fretboards and a single Dimarzio X2N pickup to reproduce the same tones that was easily identifiable as "Chuck's" tone.
According to B.C. Rich Product Director Rock Clouser, "We designed the Chuck Schuldiner Tribute Stealth with great care. We wanted a guitar that can proudly represent Chuck's legacy and his indelible mark on guitarists and the death metal genre. Although Chuck owned many B.C. Rich guitars, this black, single-pickup Stealth was probably the most recognizable B.C. Rich that Chuck played. We're very excited to offer the Tribute Stealth as well as a handcrafted version. Chuck was a great person as well as guitarist and we're very proud to be a part of his legacy and to assist his family while doing so."
The Tribute will be available late summer. Orders are currently being accepted for the handcrafted Tribute Stealth. A portion of the proceeds of each instrument goes directly to the family of Chuck Schuldiner.
