Warren Haynes is a triple-threat guitar player if ever there was one. In addition to leading his own group, Gov't Mule, he's also a longtime member of The Allman Brothers Band and has played with The Dead since 2004.

Currently wrapping Gov't Mule tour, Haynes is gearing up for The Allman Brothers Band's traditional run of New York City residency shows, which this year will encompass 13 performances at the United Palace Theater.
MusicRadar has Haynes slotted for an interview next week, and he's fired up and ready to answer your questions as well.

“It came out exciting, almost attacking, which fit the James Bond image”: Vic Flick, who played the Bond theme guitar riff, dies aged 87
“It’s been road-tested, dropped on its head, kicked around, x-rayed, strummed, chicken-picked, and arpeggio swept!”: Fender and Chris Shiflett team up for signature Cleaver Telecaster Deluxe
Joe is a freelance journalist who has, over the past few decades, interviewed hundreds of guitarists for Guitar World, Guitar Player, MusicRadar and Classic Rock. He is also a former editor of Guitar World, contributing writer for Guitar Aficionado and VP of A&R for Island Records. He’s an enthusiastic guitarist, but he’s nowhere near the likes of the people he interviews. Surprisingly, his skills are more suited to the drums. If you need a drummer for your Beatles tribute band, look him up.
