Alice In Chains first all-new studio material in 14 years, Black Gives Way To Blue, is set for release on 29 September on Virgin Records.
The album marks the recording debut with the group of singer William DuVall, who first joined for the band's 2006 reunion tour after original vocalist Layne Staley died in 2002.
Guitarist Jerry Cantrell (pictured) recently told radio that the band were "really proud" of the new album.
"Regardless of how it does, it's a win already for us, 'cause we really dig it and we stand behind it, and each other."
AIC play the inaugural Sonisphere festival (1-2 August) followed by an intimate gig at London's Scala on 4 August.
