Four EP packs a quartet of electric piano sounds into a free VST plugin
SampleScience’s latest freebie uses both additive and FM synthesis
SampleScience has released Four EP, a new free VST plugin that contains - you guessed it - four electric piano sounds.
The company says that this is both sample-based and uses additive and FM synthesis, with the idea being to keep things simple. That said, there are a few things to play with: an ADSR envelope, a low-pass filter, a reverb control and an LFO.
Four EP is available as a 64-bit Windows VST plugin (there’s no Mac version) and can be downloaded for free from the SampleScience website.
