Fender’s Twin Reverb and Deluxe Reverb are two of the most iconic guitar amps of all time, and now they’ve been brought into the digital domain with the new Tone Master amp series.
The Tone Master series delivers authentic tube amp sound with all the benefits of a contemporary design, coming in at half the weight of the originals while still packing the same core tone - it’s all thanks to an intensive R&D process and powerful quad-core processor, as you’ll discover from the video above.
Although the combos appear and sound the same as the originals - with Normal and tremolo-equipped Vibrato channels, and the Twin’s trademark bright switch - there are a number of new features hidden around the rear of the amp, too.
These include an output power selector with five attenuation settings, a USB port and an XLR line out with IR cab sims - perfect for running straight to the mixing desk at gigs, or for recording, particularly with the onboard mute switch for silent tracking.
Other features include a lightweight, resonant pine cabinet and Jensen N-12K speakers, which are based on original Jensen speaker specs but utilize neodymium magnets to keep the weight down.
The Tone Master Twin Reverb (£999) and Tone Master Deluxe Reverb (£869) are available now. For more information on these innovative amps, visit Fender.com.
