Fender’s Ultra Noiseless™ pickups are also a key part of every American Ultra Series instrument. The latest evolution of Fender's design provides those essential and inspiring Fender single-coil tones without the unwanted intrusion of hum. S-1 switching systems on the Strat, Tele and Jazzmaster add further options to the voice of each guitar.
Series and Parallel tones are accessible on the Tele and Jazzmaster and the Strat offers increased pickup mix options and the unique Fender Double Tap Humbucker can be split to provide unmistakable single-coil Strat tones.
The American Ultra Precision, Jazz and Jazz V Bass models combines those qualities with an active preamp to enhance your playing with even wider tonal possibilities via mid, bass and treble boost/cut circuitry. For the first time the Precision Bass is now offered with a Noiseless pickup.
There's a wide range of new colour finishes premiering in the American Ultra range, including Cobra Blue, Mocha Burst, Texas Tea, Arctic Pearl and Ultraburst, complemented by bespoke pickguard finishes.
