Sabian's 100 Soil-Aged cymbals excavated, de-mudded
Find out what they sound like
After a freezing Canadian winter, Sabian has unearthed the 100 premium Vault Artisan Rides it buried in the ground. You can read why they did it here, and for the '100s of cymbal fanatics' who 'wanted to know what the results would sound like', the video's after the jump.
Compared against standard vault-aged models, eight months of mud will give you a "more dominant mid-range", a "little less sustain" and "a slightly more controlled sound"…
More info and photos from the One Of 100 excavation can be seen here. Unfortunately, every $800 cymbal has already been snapped up.
