Nine Inch Nails drummer celebrates birthday in style
Despite the sad events at yesterday's Michael Jackson memorial there was reason to celebrate for a couple of drumming stars.
Beatles legend Ringo Starr turned 69 and Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin celebrated his 21st year. In true rock fashion Trent Reznor organised a little treat for Ilan during their Paris show last night.

Birthday pranks on drummers are not uncommon. Just last December Lars Ulrich turned 45 and the rest of Metallica and their crew chose to celebrate with the obligatory custard pies to the face.
Luckily a fan was on hand to film all the whipped cream carnage. Head to 7.20 for first impact.
