Mapex partners up with Drumtech
PRESS RELEASE: Mapex has partnered with Drumtech, part of the leading contemporary music performance schools, Tech Music Schools, in an exciting new venture that will give the school's 900 strong student body access to the kind of gear endorsed by Gregg Bissonette, Will Calhoun (Living Colour) and Chris Pennie (Coheed & Cambria).
Mapex has equipped every classroom and rehearsal room with brand new kits from the Orion, Saturn and Meridian ranges. The partnership reflects Mapex and TMS's commitment to excellence and achievement through providing the best gear and educational content to students attending the courses.
TMS' master class calendar will include guest clinicians from Mapex's international visiting artist roster. Mapex video content will also be made available via TMS's highly popular YouTube channel and on their website, which also contains a considerable library of tutorials, artist performances and master classes.
Of the partnership, Mapex says "We are delighted to be working with TMS as they share our passion and enthusiasm for developing musical education within Europe. Education is extremely important to Mapex nationally and Internationally so to join forces with such a well established and reputable school is invaluable"
There are also plans for Mapex and Drumtech to work together on promotional and educational projects over the coming year. Mapex recently supported TMS in providing free tuition to guests at the London International Music Show at ExCel London.
