Tycoon Percussion announces stainless steel signature model timbales
Tycoon Percussion has announced an addition to its growing roster of top international artists and signature drums in the shape of the Ralph Irizarry model timbales.
The 14" and 15" timbales feature a gloss black finish and stainless steel shells with heavy-gauge, die-cast, chrome-plated counterhoops. A height adjustable stand, cowbell bracket, tuning wrench and pair of sticks are also included with every set.
Self-taught Irizarry, hailing from New York's Spanish Harlem, has performed and recorded with the likes of Ray Barretto, Ruben Blades, Harry Belafonte, Celia Cruz,Paquito D'Rivera, Wynton Marsalis and Paul Simon. He was also featured in the 1992 motion picture The Mambo Kings.
