ICMP host Thin Lizzy rhythm section masterclass
Drummer Tommy Aldridge to visit The Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance in London
The Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance is hosting a rhythm section masterclass by Thin Lizzy veterans Tommy Aldridge (drums) and Marco Mendoza (bass). The event takes place on Wednesday 19 March from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in London (UK) and there are a limited number of seats available to the public.
Tommy Aldridge, perhaps best known for pioneering double bass drumming, has an impressive resume including Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake and Black Oak Arkansas. Both Aldridge and Mendoza - who has also previously toured with Whitesnake - are fresh from a recent UK tour with the reformed Thin Lizzy.
The ICMP, originally known as The Drum Institute, offers full and part-time professional courses for musicians. To reserve a place at this one-off masterclass email enquiries@icmp.uk.com or call +44 (0)20 7328 0222.
