Gregg Bissonette heading for Drumfest 2009
With Jason Bonham and Carmine Appice
Drumfest returns to the UK in 2009 with another lineup of veritable drumming royalty. This year it's the turn or world renowned session sticksman Gregg Bissonette to top the pack…
And - having sharpened his teeth backing the likes of Santana, James Taylor, David Lee Roth, Joe Satriani and Spinal Tap over the years - it's certainly a worthy placement. Check out Gregg rocking out on Mapex's Meridian Series drums at winter NAMM for proof.
Also joining Gregg at the NIA Birmingham is Jason Bonham, Jojo Mayer, Simon Phillips, Carmine Appice and Jason Bittner. Not to mention the "worlds biggest drum retail village".
Drumfest 2009 takes place on Sunday 12 July (alongside Guitarfest on Saturday 11 July). Tickets are available here or by calling Professional Music Technology on +44 (0)121 359 5056. See you there!
