2008's National Drum Fair announced
The UK's National Drum Fair has been announced for the weekend of 27-28 September at the Cocks Moor Woods Leisure Centre in Kings Heath, Birmingham.
As always the show will include exhibitions, clinics and trading stalls, plus vintage rarities on display from all the historic drum manufacturers: Gretsch, Camco, Ludwig, Leedy and more. The NDF has always been a friendly, non-profit show, with private stall holders, collectors, custom drum builders and enthusiasts all rubbing shoulders. You can even bring your own unwanted gear to sell, or grab those missing parts you can't find anywhere else.
Clinics included in the admission price are by Gail-Louise James, Young Drummer of the Year 2008, George Barnett, and big band star Bob Howard.
The fair is open from 10am to 5pm and tickets are £5 per day or £8 for the two days. For further information call 0121 464 1996 or email info@ukdrumfair.com.
