Industry-pioneering companies, L-Acoustics and JH Audio have teamed up to bring the L-Acoustics sonic signature into a brand new 10-driver in-ear monitor designed for professionals and audiophiles.
L-Acoustics’ sonic signature is widely viewed as the benchmark for the live music and performing arts industries. L-Acoustics is well known for revolutionizing the live sound industry with the Wavefront Sculpture Technology of V-DOSC line source arrays in 1992, and L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound in 2016.
JH Audio has propelled itself to become one of the most in-demand IEM manufacturers. Founder Jerry Harvey developed the first custom dual balanced-armature in-ear monitor in 1995.
Their shared commitment to continuously strive for better sound quality led both companies to combine forces and recreate L-Acoustics’ renowned live sound reference within an IEM.
Through intensive collaboration between their R&D departments, L-Acoustics Creations and JH Audio were able to turn the dream of replicating live sound in an IEM a reality.
Thanks to the 10 balanced armature drivers with 3-way crossover in a quad low, dual mid, and quad high configuration, Contour XO is equipped to provide the listener with the natural, dynamic, generous, and consistent sonic signature found in L-Acoustics’ line array systems.
Furthermore, this IEM puts the listener in control of the low end with bass adjustment of up to 15 dB of adjustable full-range frequency.

These newly designed in-ear monitors bring listeners intimately inside the music like never before. The development of Contour XO also supports the upcoming release of L-Acoustics’ L-ISA binaural object-based mixing software tools. Early adopters of the IEM will receive a special access, limited license to the new L-ISA software.
