Within Current, five synthesis engines, nine audio effects, endless modulation, and much more can be used to create virtually any sound. Plus, Minimal Audio's cloud-connected Stream provides access to thousands of presets and sounds for immediate inspiration when you’re deep in a session.

The 2.0 update to Current brings a new Play View, mod matrix, effects, and numerous enhancements, providing even more sound design possibilities.

One of the core principles of Current is that creators of all experience levels deserve a powerful tool that meets their unique needs. The distraction-free Play View offers immediate access to powerful presets as well as your own custom patches through an interactive dual XY pad.

Transform your sounds with the new Wave Shifter effect, which combines frequency shifting, ring modulation, and feedback, along with oscillator-style controls like FM and soft sync. The new modulation matrix lets you see all of your modulation connections at once; while the mixer panel lets you tweak the layers of Current’s engines with levelling, soloing, and direct out. Allowing you to control every detail of your patch.

And now, The Stream has been revamped to make browsing our ever-growing library of 1500+ presets even easier. Quickly explore expansion packs, preview patches, and save your favourites, so that you can find the sound you need without breaking your flow.
