No one has time to scroll through 14,000 Black Friday offers on Sweetwater, that's why I've selected the most useful one - and it's only $19.95

With the Black Friday guitar deals finally arriving today, it’s your chance to pick up bargain guitar gear for less and there is a lot of it flying around. Just at Sweetwater alone they’ve got discounts on over 14,000 items, which means finding the right deal for you could be quite the monumental task.

Thankfully I think I’ve found a deal that will appeal to guitarists of all kinds, with 5 packs of Ernie Ball guitar strings available for just $19.95. Typically costing $34.95, this is a super deal that essentially gives you two packs for free, as well as an extra dollar on top to make the deal that much sweeter. It’s easily one of my favorite deals I’ve come across this Black Friday.

Ernie Ball Guitar Strings
Ernie Ball Guitar Strings: was $34.95 now $19.95 at Sweetwater Sound

There’s a great selection of strings on sale here, no matter what your playing style. Whether you prefer a lighter set for your Strat or you want something heavy for downtuning, you can pick up a pack of Super Slinkys, Power Slinkys, or any set in between for a lot less. There are also acoustic guitar strings available in the sale if you prefer your tones a little more natural.

As a guitar player, you’re always going to need fresh guitar strings, whether you’re a bedroom-exclusive player or you’re regularly gigging your local venues. Strings are one of those things you’ll always need more of, which makes this probably the most useful deal I’ve come across this Black Friday. Last year I stocked up on a shedload of my favorite Skinny Top Heavy Bottom string sets and it’s one of the best investments I made in my playing, saving me plenty of time and money in the long run.

I’ve been playing Ernie Ball strings for pretty much my whole playing career and although I’ve had some brief stings trying out other brands, I’ve always ended up with Ernie Ball’s back on my guitars. My picking style is pretty aggressive and whatever it is about Ernie Ball string construction had meant they rarely break with my playing style, lasting long enough for me to need to change them due to the build-up of dirt and grime.

If you’re not an electric guitar aficionado don’t worry, there’s a great selection of Ernie Ball Earthwood acoustic guitar strings available in the sale too. There’s plenty of choice in terms of gauge and you can choose between Phosphor Bronze and 80/20 Bronze sets too. At this price you could even pick up multiple gauges or material types and shoot them out to see if your favorite really is the best for you.
