Oasis Security
Oasis returned to Blighty last night for play the first show of their UK tour at the Liverpool Echo Arena. It was the first live performance since that knuckle-dragging eejit pushed guitarist Noel Gallagher over in Canada, causing our hero rib damage.
With this in mind, the band were introduced on-stage by boxing tough nut Ricky Hatton who, according to NME.com, said:
"They're the best band in the world and, I'm proud to say, friends. If anyone tries to push them over onstage tonight they're gonna have me to deal with!"
As Ricky is harder that nails that have been plated with titanium, then embedded into Mick Tyson´s fists and sealed in concrete, no-one had the bottle to even consider repeating the assault.
And thank Cliff for that!
