January Issue of Guitarist On-Sale Now
The latest issue of Guitarist hits the streets today (21st December).
We have a huge feature on the wonders of Shape guitars, featuring Hendrix, The Edge, Slash and more. We back it all up with a huge review of a sextet of Shape guitars you must try; there's a video demo on the CD of all six too. We also have an exclusive look at the wondrous Gibson Custom Shop Reissue of Jimi's 1967 Flying V complete with that iconic psychedelic paintjob.
We're On The Road with mop-topped Aussie classic rockers Wolfmother (don't mention the Ashes…), the classic track is Wish You Were Here by the mighty Pink Floyd, and the reviews section positively groans under the weight of new gear from such names as Maverick, Kustom, D*A*M, Carl Martin TC Electronic and much more. We also welcome the venerable Martyn Booth back to our pages with two lovely new electrics.
In the Techniques section we focus on the styles of Hubert Sumlin, Robben Ford, Sir Steven of Vai, Joe Perry and Bert Jansch.
That's more than enough to be getting on with. The January issue of Guitarist, priced £5.25 is out…now!
