Influential US label seeks bands
Deep Elm Records
is now accepting submissions for Chapter 11 of The Emo Diaries, the compilation series that has already featured pioneering bands such as Jimmy Eat World, The Appleseed Cast, Planes Mistaken For Stars and more.
The label says: “Submission is now open to any independent artist, signed or unsigned, throughout the world. The only requirement is that all songs must be unreleased and kick ass. There is no cost to participate. Interested bands should visit
and click on the Submit Music link.”
Previous chapters of The Emo Diaries have served as a launchpad for many previously unknown bands such as Further Seems Forever (featuring Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional), The Movielife, Sounds Like Violence and the UK´s Free Diamonds.
