Hot Off The Press: Nearly 50,000 copies of Guitarist burn in lorry on M5
The entire print run of Guitarist's new issue - ironically featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante as its cover star - has been burned in a lorry fire on the M5.
Thankfully the driver of the lorry was unhurt.
Two lanes were closed between junction 6 and 5 northbound following the incendent early this morning and caused a tailback of around five miles.
We're hoping the issue will only be a day or two late on the shelves as we wait for a re-print.
The
BBC merely refers to Guitarist as 'paper'
in their news report, don't they know we're a specialist magazine!
