Guitarist DVD: Mystery Foot Revealed
We've had many emails, letters and comments regarding The Guitarist Beginner's Guide to Tone DVD that we issued with GIT316, and we're very glad that you liked and enjoyed our guide to tone.
One subject that keeps coming up, however, is the appearance of what seems to be a 'stunt foot' that manifests itself during one section of the footage. Clad in a dainty party shoe rather than Bradders' knackered old Merrells, it seems that Guitarist readers want to know who it belongs to.
The foot in question...
We can reveal that the slinky plate belongs to none other that our own Polly Beauchamp, who is part of our righteous Rights Team. They make sure our guitar mags are all legal as far as use of third party music is concerned and, although not exactly rock and roll, we'd soon be in trouble with the Beak if it wasn't for their attention to detail.
La Pollster, yesterday. "Ooh, bar's open..."
Next DVD, we're planning something even more special - roll on 2010...fingers crossed.

Simon Bradley is a guitar and especially rock guitar expert who worked for Guitarist magazine and has in the past contributed to world-leading music and guitar titles like MusicRadar (obviously), Guitarist, Guitar World and Louder. What he doesn't know about Brian May's playing and, especially, the Red Special, isn't worth knowing.
