Grounded: Jet going on indefinite hiatus
Australian 'retro' rockers Jet are taking a break, and it could a long one.
Singer and guitarist Chris Cester announced the band's intentions via a MySpace bulletin yesterday. He said four years of constant touring had taken its toll on the band (come on Jet - you're only young lads! It's rock n' roll, right?
"We've just decided to take some well-earned time off," sighed Cester. "After touring for, well, ever, we sat ourselves down and realised that, with all the time we have spent away from home, Jet could finally use some down time."
Down but not out? If not then who knows if we'll ever see their like again.
