Bristol Guitar Shop Searching For Real Guitar Heroes
Absolute Guitars
are lending their support to the
Bristol Festival
with a Guitar Hero competition - but we´re not talking videogames here, they want the real thing.
Running between 18-20 September The Bristol festival is a showcase of Southwest music and theatre talent in September and the three-day event takes place over seven outdoor stages and then Bristol city venues.
To celebrate Bristol guitar shop Absolute Guitars have come up with a great idea for all guitarists; they will be running a guitar hero competition. There´s no plastic controllers involved here, instead real guitar players are invited to the Absolute Guitar's Marquee located within Lloyd´s Amphitheatre at the festival. You´ll get one minute to play a solo to win spot prizes throughout the event for originality, ability and maybe for just taking part.
In addition, all entries will be videoed and the best (and possibly the worst!) 10 guitar solo's will be uploaded to the Absolute Guitars website to help pick a winner.
