Blink 182 Reunite
In a period of all sorts of bands reforming - almost in inverse proportion to t he number of UK footy managers getting the boot, ‘punk´ chart-botherers Blink 182 have got back together.
Quoted on NME.com, an official statement said: "To put it simply, we're back. We mean, really back. Picking up where we left off and then some. In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Friendships reformed. 17 years deep in our legacy."
A tour and album are, no doubt, in the works.
Should the band be known as Blink 182 II...or even Blink 183? One thing´s for sure, singer/guitarist Tom DeLonge has sure changed his mind from his standpoint in 2006, when he spluttered: "I do not want to be in a bullshit pop band with some bullshit pop songs while you drive your f*cking bullshit car and sing along to it like you´re some 14 year-old girl."
Needs must as the devil drives, eh lads?
