Axl Responds In An ‘Open Letter’
After refusing to take part in any press coverage whatsoever following the release of Chinese Democracy, Axl Rose has penned a heartfelt letter, addressed to ‘the world´, outlining his response to the less than awesome reception of the latest ‘G´NR´ album.
“I don't see myself as solely Guns but I do see myself as the only one from the past making the effort to take it forward whether anyone approves or not and giving beyond what many would or fight for to do so.” He says
You can read the whole thing on NME.com, but surely sitting down to do a few interviews with mags whose readers care about the ‘band´ wouldn´t be a bad idea!
