ACM Summer School 20 to 24 August
Guildford´s Academy Of Contemporary Music will open its doors once again in August for the annual Summer School.
It´s an event particularly close to Guitarist´s heart not least because we (well, me, actually) attended the school a few years back, taking in a five-day intensive course of study, way too many fried breakfasts and the occasional pint or six of an evening. In fact, things I learned on that short course - over five years ago - continue to help my playing develop to this day.
You can choose guitar, drum, vocals or music production streams, but the best bit of all is simply being able to immerse yourself 100 per cent in learning and playing music for the whole week. You can benefit from expert tuition, special guest visitors and of course the chance to perform with your fellow students using pro gear in a pro environment.
The cost for the week is £299 which includes lunch.
For further information visit ACM's site, email enquiries@acm.ac.uk or call 01483 500800.
