Doepfer Dark Energy
Another morning, another trip to see everyone's favorite synth nut, Andreas schnieder and The SUPERBOOTH! This time we were pointed to the mystically named Dark Engery synth, built by module supremeos, Doepfer.
The synth is basically an all-in-one version of their A-111-5 module, so a monophonic stand-alone synth with the sound generation and all modulation sources being 100% analogue. Cleverly,t here's built-in USB and MIDI interface so although the wooden panels may scream retro, it will integrate with your studio setup easily. Compared to the module version the controls have been slightly spread out for easier twiddling. The synth should be on sale for around 399 Euros.
