Modular music creation program energyXT is heading to the increasingly popular Linux platform. This week saw the release of a beta version of energyXT2, which is both Linux and Windows compatible.
Speaking on a Linux blog, developer Jorgen Aase says how he likes Linux´s community-driven approach, as well as the multitude of free programming tools available for the up-and-coming platform. In fact, so taken is Aase with the OS, he describes it as “the future of music production platforms”. The question is, how soon will that future arrive?
