After a successful career in the music industry as a performer, producer and songwriter, Pete trained as a Solicitor and qualified at Blacks Solicitors in 2012, and is now a Partner and Head of Music Law.
With first-hand experience of being an artist in the music industry, Pete is well-regarded for his ability to explain complex legal issues to his artist clients in an easy to understand and practical way.
Pete also carries out business affairs for several independent record labels and assists their in-house teams in negotiating and finalising paperwork. He advises on all manner of music matters, including contracts for recording, distribution, publishing, management, production, merchandising and licensing.
