Perhaps this year’s most exciting supergroup, Sons Of Apollo boast former Dream Theater members Mike Portnoy and Derek Sherinian, Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal, Billy Sheehan and Jeff Scott Soto among their virtuoso-studded ranks.
The band’s debut album, Psychotic Symphony, arrives today, so we took the time to quiz Mike and Derek on their favourite drum and keyboard performances on the record, how their musical relationship has evolved and bringing Bumblefoot into the mix.
