Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler has made a new name for himself (sort of) as a reality TV star on Celebrity Rehab and Sober House.
But the one-time GN'R basher still holds out hopes for a full-scale reunion tour with Axl, Slash and the rest of the original Appetite For Destruction gang.
In a somewhat bizarre video interview posted below from Psychobabbletv.com, Adler talks about what a Guns N' Roses reunion would mean to him:
Wants to finish what he started
"It would be nice if we could do a reunion. I know, it would help me, in my life. Because I'm afraid when I die I'm gonna have to come back again to finish what I started. And if I could finish what I started with the GN'R guys, as a band, I know I could die happy."
Still, Adler has some abrupt and curt words for Axl Rose. "But I'm not gonna wait for him (Axl Rose). I waited and cried for decades, and no more. Fuck him! Forget him!"
Slamming your ex-singer? Guess that's one way to get a reunion going.
Adler does admit, however, that he's reconciled with former bandmate Slash, who even asked the drummer to play on a track on his upcoming solo album. "Once I get on one song, the magic will happen," says Adler.

“Kurt was sitting in the bathtub with a Walkman on, listening to the song, and when the tape ended, he kissed me and said, 'Oh, finally, now I don't have to be the only songwriter in the band!'”: Dave Grohl's evolution as a songwriter
Joe is a freelance journalist who has, over the past few decades, interviewed hundreds of guitarists for Guitar World, Guitar Player, MusicRadar and Classic Rock. He is also a former editor of Guitar World, contributing writer for Guitar Aficionado and VP of A&R for Island Records. He’s an enthusiastic guitarist, but he’s nowhere near the likes of the people he interviews. Surprisingly, his skills are more suited to the drums. If you need a drummer for your Beatles tribute band, look him up.
